I don’t know about you, but I have to watch myself like a hawk!

My heart and mind wanders so easily and my soul will atrophy from goodness if I am not guarding my whole self again myself, this fallen world and the devil. The Christian life is not easy, but we are promised the power of God.

Maybe you have something you are fighting at the moment in your life. We have the victory in Christ as we persevere and fight. We can lay straight paths for our feet and help ourselves by staying out of temptations way and situations that will make it difficult for us to be victorious. We seek the wisdom of God to overcome, and grow in grace and Christian stature.

Even if we keep falling and have failure moments, the Lord will keep us and we persevere until we get the complete victory.

We stay in the Word, we pray, we worship and surround ourselves with the things of God and keep our resolve and mind strong in the Lord. The things of this world will weaken us and leave our psyche vulnerable to the attacks from media, mediocrity and Satan. We resist all these pressures, for our destiny is Christ and to reign with Him forever. The battle ground of the mind rages, and the victory is certain for all who love the Lord Jesus with an unending love.
